Estrella Harrington, COO of Global Discovery Biosciences, is responsible for execution of the GBD global operations and expansion. She is the former CEO of Coastal Living, Entertainment and Dining, and has more than 23 years of entrepreneurial management and operations experience in the startup, development, implementation and growth of small and large companies. Ms. Harrington served in the financial services and banking industry prior to entering the entertainment and dining industry. She was a partner in Princeton Private Capital and worked Directly with the Sainsbury group in London. She had a staff of 178 representatives as Managing Director of WMA and held all necessary securities licenses.
As an entrepreneur, Estrella created a unique brand under the A La Carte Gourmet umbrella including two restaurants, and markedly expanded and grew it’s catering and event planning offering. Mrs. Harrington has garnered many awards including Talk of the Town Caterer, City of Laguna Beach; Best Caterer, Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce; Fox 11 Award for Orange County Best Caterer; and Business Woman of the Year by the Business Advisory Council, National Republican Congressional Committee. Ms. Harrington founded GuardaHeart Foundation in late 2011.
