Shoutout to My Modern Met, founded by California natives and based in Orange County, California. As a way to contribute to their own community, they pulled together a list of local resources to help anyone who may be in need of aid and essentials, whether it be clothing, shelter, food, or anything in between.

This week, Jimmy Kimmel Live is hosting a donation center at their backlot in Hollywood, where they are distributing essential items to those in need.

If you’ve lost a pet in the wildfires or were forced to evacuate without them, local animal organizations are here to help.
There are teams that have official approval to go into the burn areas to rescue animals that are injured, sick, trapped, or otherwise need help.
