Looking Up – West Coast Premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival

"Looking Up," the debut feature from director Elena Neuman, will make its highly anticipated New York premiere at the Soho International Film Festival on Saturday October 18, 2025. The film follows Eitan Armon, a young man facing progressive blindness from Retinitis Pigmentosa, as he takes on the extraordinary challenge of climbing El Capitan.

With appearances by renowned positive psychologist Tal Ben-Shahar, retinal researchers Drs. Edwin Stone and Budd Tucker, and climbing partners Jay Lefkowitz and Willie Benegas, the film is both a testament to hope and an exploration of human resilience. 

A post-screening Q&A with Neuman, Armon, and featured experts offers a unique chance to delve deeper into the story. Screening: Saturday, October 18, 2025
