Wheelchair to Wheels — rebuilding life through adversity, sobriety and riding
I’m Corinna — medically retired mental health nurse, author, sober warrior and solo rider living with FND, Fibromyalgia, arthritis, anxiety and chronic illness.
I am no longer in a wheelchair, but my journey began there in 2020 when FND and alcohol left me unable to walk or talk properly. I got sober in August 2020 and rebuilt my life through mindfulness and positivity.
After losing my partner to leukaemia in 2023, I completed our planned ride around Ireland and Wales solo, on my Can Sm Ryker 600cc, raising money for Maggie’s Cancer Care. Since then, I’ve ridden 38,000 + (mostly solo) miles across 16 European countries. I’ve ridden 46,000 miles in total and recently upgraded to a Spyder F3s
