ABOUT JULIANNE SWARTZ
Julianne Swartz
lives and works in New York State. Her work has been exhibited internationally,
including venues such as The Israel Museum, Tate Liverpool, PS1/MoMA, the
Sculpture Center, the New Museum of Contemporary Art, The High Line Park, NYC, the
Jewish Museum NYC, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Colby College Museum of Art,
the Tang Museum, Skidmore College, and the 2004 Biennial Exhibition at the
Whitney Museum of American Art. Julianne Swartz: How Deep is Your, a survey exhibition accompanied by a
full color monograph originated at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum,
Massachusetts in 2102 traveled to the Scottsdale
Museum of Contemporary Art, Scottsdale, AZ (2013) and the Indianapolis Museum
of Art (2014). Swartz teaches sculpture at Bard College and is also on faculty
at the School of Visual Arts. She holds a BA in photography and creative
writing from the University of Arizona, Tucson and a MFA in Sculpture from Bard
College.
ABOUT KEN LANDAUER
Ken Landauer crafted his house in Stone Ridge, NY. His
installations have been commissioned by the Public Art Fund, Socrates
Sculpture Park, the Providence Parks Department, and the Kansas City
Municipal Arts Commssion. His work is now in front of the DeCordova
Museum in Boston and in ArtPark in New York City. Other
exhibitions include the ASU Museum in Tempe, AZ, the Morris Museum in
Morristown, NJ, The Fields Sculpture Park at Art Omi in Ghent, NY and
the Albrecht-Kemper Museum in St. Joseph, MO. He teaches in the MFA
Program at The School of Visual Arts in New York City.
