Sara Auster is the leading voice in sound bath experiences. As a sound therapist and meditation teacher, Sara has traveled the world to share the transformative power of sound and deep listening. From boardrooms to museums, from hospitals to universities, her work has been a driving force in bringing Sound Baths to modern culture. Sara’s thoughtfully crafted immersive Sound Bath experiences invite self-discovery, inspire profound transformation and creativity, and provoke meaningful connection. She guides participants through the therapeutic and healing benefits of sound and listening in a way that is simple, modern and accessible to all.

Sara has curated and facilitated unique, site-specific Sound Bath experiences, from one-on-one sessions to 10,000 people at a time, at iconic venues and events such as the Museum of Modern Art, Madison Square Garden, Palais de Tokyo, Lincoln Center, One World Observatory, The Rubin Museum and SummerStage in Central Park. She has been invited to speak about mindfulness, deep listening and sound therapy for companies such as Google, Microsoft and American Express, and she has led immersive workshops and certificate training at New York University, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, The New York Open Center, and MNDFL Meditation Studio.

From Sundance Film Festival to SXSW, Sara is sought out for her unique ability to create and hold space for diverse groups and communities all around the world. She has been a featured presenter at wellness conferences such as In Goop Health and MBG Revitalize, and innovation summits such as The Nantucket Project and Summit DTLA, highlighting her role in bringing the transformative power of sound to the masses.

Sara Auster has been featured in the New York Times, Vogue, Billboard, TIME Magazine and has appeared in television segments for Vice and Fox 5 NY. Sara’s work was named a top meditation by Oprah Magazine in 2016, and she was chosen one of eight master meditation teachers by The Essential Guide to Meditation in 2019 alongside Pema Chodron and Deepak Chopra. 




Her first book, SOUND BATH: Meditate, Heal and Connect through Listening, an unprecedented and comprehensive guide to Sound Baths, was published in November 2019.
